Hi

I am having a weird problem with exporting GOW3 textures. Could it be a possible scaleform issue?
Umodel exports them but they come out strange like below:

Majority of them comes out like that with weird colors and distortion :S Help would be appreciated Smiley

Hi
"Distortion" is just a flood fill of the border color to fully transparent areas. This is a common technique to avoid color artifacts when scaling the image on hardware. If you will modulate the color with alpha you'll not see that strange lines.

So this problem could be solved inside UnrealEd?

Yes. Or in any image editor which correctly supports tga and alpha channel.

Ok thanks Smiley Turns out when using the image in UIScene it automatically puts the alpha channel into effect so no more distorted background Smiley

I however am having trouble with every static mesh in Gears of War 3 and Judgement. Gears 1 and 2 work great, batch export, everything links correctly to textures. Anything in Gears 3 or Judgement however, has no textures.

ISO was downloaded, extracted via XBOX ISO EXTRACT, umodel and GUI placed inside game directory beside "CookedXbox360", skeletal meshes load textured. Static meshes load as red/green/blue/yellow patterns.

Following text in Umodel GUI - "Found 2514 game files (47 skipped)
Loading package: CookedXbox360/MP_Azura.xxx Ver: 828/0 Engine: 8653 Names: 5062 Exports: 15484 Imports: 891 Game: 8000
Export "SM_COG_Azura_Deco_Big_Statue_Top" was found in package MP_Azura
Loading StaticMesh3 SM_COG_Azura_Deco_Big_Statue_Top from package CookedXbox360/MP_Azura.xxx
WARNING: Unknown class "RB_BodySetup" for object "RB_BodySetup_19"
WARNING: Unknown class "RB_BodySetup" for object "RB_BodySetup_19"
Found 1 object(s)
Loaded in 0.036 sec, 5272 allocs, 0.27 MBytes serialized in 241 calls."

Textures.tfc was also in the cooked folder. Not sure what is going wrong or why. Worked like a dream for Gears 1 and 2. Thank you Gildor, but can I please get your help once more?

--Small Update - Apparently textures are also showing up on a very very small amount of static meshes. Things like ammo crates, helmets, cog tags...but scenery isn't displaying any textures. Entire packages without any showing up.

That's normal situation since some version of UE3. I think static meshes are textured in StaticMeshComponent object (which is not supported by umodel)

Can you support it in future?
