me i have always crash:

like gildor said before in this same topic, u have to use the postal unrealED to make the ukx. The only thing is that u only can use meshs without animations like weapons and armors.

I'm "selling" my program which can create L2 ukx packages. But really, there is no customers Sad
Even more: some people trying to sell my program with a "less price" (that people are from Russia ...)

Now, I have a few decisions:
  • to discontinue that program at all, remove Lineage support from umodel
  • to reduce a price to program (to say, 50$ - is it a big price?)
  • put this program into public without any help and support (make a support by donation?)

What should I prefer?

Yes, I'm a new member, so my voice won't count here, but I'd like to show you my point of view. And, yes, I know, it's an old topic, sorry for digging that old stuff again... It's something I actually need now.

I've came across your umodel like 2 days ago, and it became a very useful tool, as I am an old Unreal modder. ATM I am working with guys who devote their time and strength to create a free Lineage 2 server in Poland, fully Role Playing Game, it's not a PvP server. And, imagine, we wanted to create our own tools for our server. After three days I've managed to import static models into Lineage 2:


Now, I've done that using OAUKX C6 beta3. Unfortunately, UVW mapping is a mess there...
Now, imagine, I see that you've developed a tool that is capable of creating such beautiful things for Linage. 100 USD is like 400 zl here in Poland. My month salary is... 800 zl... There's no way I can handle such cost for simple tool I won't use commercially. I'll say more, I CAN'T use it commercially.
It is, indeed, something which would really come in hand for a big amount of people. So, if there are no customers please consider lowering the prize...

Well ... There are really not so much customers ... May be you're right - I should lower the price. Let's talk about 50 USD Smiley Is this price is low enough ? (two times lower)

Anyways, my friend will, or probably already did contact you about it, question is, does this Lineage model maker support Gracia and Epilogue chronicles?

I have no ability to test this by myself. It should, but I cannot guarantee it 100%. I can send you a test ukx file so you will test it by yourself.

It should unless NCsoft has modified its engine with breaking backwards compatibility with older engines.

does this Lineage model maker support Gracia and Epilogue chronicles?
ukx packages created by gildor's tool work with ANY lineage 2 client from first to latest ones.
and gildor's umodel viewer works with ANY lineage 2 client too.

feel free to ask me anything about since iam here for that porpuse.
