@Tatsumi7886: It's hard to tell anything without full error message, maybe you forgot to set game specific override option at startup screen or something. Also you can read posts above, they may be helpful to clear particular things, especially if you didn't work with UE3 games in umodel before.

This is how I put it before trying to look for the models (first photo), its done properly isnt it?

Besides that, there is no error message for me, I just try opening something (The second photo for example, which I assume is the model since its the one whose name fits the most since I know that animations cant be worked with) and a flash happens then nothing, besides when I try to export it without opening it doesnt export anything :c

I've read the messages before mine and I dont seem to find a solution

Im struggling to find the models and animations. Ive been successful in ripping models from Midnight Suns before and Ive sorted by "Skel" and "Stat" but only the games levels show up. Any help is appreciated. I am using a cracked version if that affects anything.

@osmisaac: If you understand how to find packages with skeletal meshes by scanning and sorting results, there shouldn't be much issues with the rest. It's just in UE3 games all package contents are loaded at once and you need to scroll through them with PageUp/PageDown (there is an option to show only meshes in the viewer), also animations for particular skeletal mesh from a package can be included in different package, in such cases you need to append that package to already loaded set (there is append option in context menu) and switch to compatible anim set with Ctrl+A. In umodel things are working a bit different for UE3 games and below and for UE4 and above.

Though I should note that the game doesn't use diffuse/albedo textures for most meshes, they're painted with material properties (including colors, masks and such) and shaders.

I included a screenshot to see if it could help. I am using a cracked version of the game (unsure of that's effect). When I look through the files with skeletons I get weird cubes as shown and the files I thought were the characters and their vehicles don't have any skeleton associated.

@osmisaac: Packages shown on the screenshot contains only one skeletal mesh per package, the rest are static meshes. For skeletal meshes with missing skeletons you would see respective warning at the bottom left corner of the viewer. I can only suggest to sort packages by skeletal meshes and open those with larger amount of them. Also read my previous post carefully and maybe look for some tutorials about general umodel usage in context of UE3 games - there are plenty of them (like Batman series) and overall approach is the same for most of them.

Ok, thank you! I started to look into the batman series but wasn't sure if it would be relevant with the heavy modifications the transformers devs had to do. I'll start there and try again.
