I'm having a hard time extracting audio from Primal Carnage (I realize it's only in beta and not supported yet in UE Viewer). Animations and other stuff seem to exact fine though. I used various umodel settings and the package decompressor as well with no success so far. That's the log I get:
Code:
******** E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\primal_carnage_beta\PrimalCarnageGame\CookedPC\PrimalCarnageGame.u ********

ERROR: SoundNodeWave::Serialize(AU_Commando_AMB): 48 unread bytes
LoadObject:SoundNodeWave'PrimalCarnageGame.AU_Commando_AMB', pos=5D7C4E5, ver=860/0, game=8000 <- UObject::EndLoad <- LoadWholePackage:PrimalCarnageGame <- Main

Does this tell anything useful? Should I copy any specific engine files to help?

Remove "-sounds" option from the command line.

Hello Gildor!

I just registered here because I have the same problem.

I removed the "-sounds"-Part from the command line. But I still don't have any sounds. I have textures, Meshes, Animations... Just as Daeron. But no sounds.
Is there any other way, to solve this problem?

Thank you for your help =)

According to previous posts in this thread, umodel is not compatible with sounds from this game, that's why I told
Remove "-sounds" option from the command line.
When you're not specifying "-sounds" option, umodel will not try to load sounds, that's why they're not extracted in your case.

Hello Gildor!

Thank you for your answer Smiley

Alright, then I hope that umodel will be compatible with sounds in future versions!

Thank you for your help Smiley
