umodel crashes on startup & GUI just don't lanuch

so, i tried using umodel to extract a few things from dishonored but unfortunately the program crashes on startup i'm unsure of whats going wrong because there isn't a error log and i'm fairly certain everything is in place to run the program correctly.

so any help would be nice

Try umodel without GUI, it always prints error messages in a case of crash. Also, crash messages are dumped to notify.log file.
