Hello, i had this friend last year who made a custom texture in photoshop and imported it into the game using umodel. I no longer have contact with him, i was wondering how this is done? thanks
You couldn't do it with Umodel in any way. The program is only for viewing and exporting game resources.

Obviously i'm not asking for any download links or anything, but is there some kind of modded version that someone made which allows that capability? Now i'm confused as to how he did it.

@Blenux: Um, no. UE4 script is too complex and therefore not compatible with reimport functionality of quickbms.

@chris: Generic reimport scheme for graphics looks like this. But for textures only you can use any image editor instead of Max/Blender and probably set the same texture compression method as in original one (in unreal editor), though default settings should be fine too.

Found 1 game files (60 skipped) in 1 folders at path "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\F13Game"
Scanned game directory in 0.0 sec, 147 allocs, 0.00 MBytes serialized in 4 calls.

Then game wont even show up with an aes key i was wondering if anyone had any help or help from gildor

Here is specific umodel build for the game (link, updated) - no special override is required, simply use proper engine version (4.18 for PC / 4.21 for Switch). If you're a newcomer, check this post before launching the build. It can open game package directly, so you don't need to extract it. Also, materials are now properly applied to static meshes.

If you want to extract everything from the package, use respective quickbms script from specific scripts bundle, available here (for more info read sticked topic). The key can be found in the linked topic as well.

Specific build above is updated with support for Switch version of the game, it's using different engine though and also don't forget to set corresponding platform settings to get proper textures.
