If you're talking about the FoC models, the wheels are customizable in the character builds for MP, so you will find them as separate entities. For WFC, I never really paid attention...

Even the big guys are set up that way. I know that in WFC the weapons and props and items had their maps on them, but I haven't dug into FoC enough yet to tell you for sure.
