Since Borderlands 1 and 2 run on modified engines(UE3 ?), umodel doesn't seem to work with them.

The remasters have higher poly character models, higher res textures.

Unless support for unreal 3 engine is no longer a thing ?

Cool. So, if I'll add Borderlands Remastered - which info could I add to the compatibility table?

Maybe he didn't use borderlands/borderlands 2 game detection?

I just tested and all seem to be working here.

Pardon me, you're refering to Game of the Year edition (which i supose is the remastered)?
I just can't open those files with umodel, unless i'm missing something

The Borderlands Enhanced Edition doesn't seem to work. Borderlands 2 Enhanced or whatever works fine if you override to Borderlands 2 in the options.
The following Error occurs with Borderlands 1

Quote
MapTypeName <- FPropertyTag<< <- CTypeInfo::SerializeUnrealProps <- UObject::Serialize <- UTexture3::Serialize <- UTexture2D::Serialize <- LoadObject:Texture2D'BeastResources.BeastSettings', pos=4B2, ver=594/58, game=border <- UObject::EndLoad <- LoadWholePackage:BeastResources <- ExportPackages <- CUmodelApp::ShowPackageUI <- Main:umodel_build=1048

Sorry to double post, but I finally got the required examination files according to the FAQ on-site. Here's everything it said you needed to figure out things.

Has there been any updates on Borderlands GOTY (Remastered) working with UModel? Going through the various Borderlands titles and would love to see some of these assets  Smiley

I can confirm these are still not working on Borderlands GOTY Enhanced.

Here is specific build for Borderlands GOTY Enhanced (link) - no override is required, it should detect the game automatically. Tested only on samples, provided by Ehlyon above.

This is funny issue - while umodel relies on engine versions for parsing and in the enhanced edition version was increased, actually nothing is changed (at least umodel wise). In the same time, there is a value which should be present only in more recent engine versions than suggested by the game.
