Befzz's Blender PSK Importer

Right click on links and save link as....

For Blender 2.79

For Blender 2.80 > 3.0 Alpha

* 2.79 added in case someone wanted it.
* 2.80 > 3.0 Alpha has a scale down option, shouldn't need to scale down meshes to 0.001 in Blender (Lights not working in viewport etc) at all.

Be sure to thank and credit him.

Hi, anyone succesffuly installed the plugin for Blender 2.8? I have tried the usual route of 'Install from file' and the scrpit does appear in my 'roaming/blender/scripts/addons' folder. However it doesn't appear in the Blender preferences where I usually have to enable the plugin....Any advice?

Hi, here is the Blender PSK Importer provided by Befzz, he is the one that has been updating it on his Github page, Blender 2.79 has older versions of PSK importers included with it, while Blender 2.80 has none.

Be sure to thank him.

You just need to put the .py in the addon folder, then it should work.

It is really strange, the .py script is in the add-on folder. I have checked manually. However it is not showing in the User preferences settings of Blender where I usually enable the plug-in :-( Strange...

Delete the ones you have in the addons folder and just put this one directly in the scripts folder, latest one that I use.

Befzz was kind enough to add a Scale option to his PSK importer, matches FBX/gLTF/Blender scaling 1-1.

Before.

After

Thanks Befzz!

Hello blenux, I'm noob. You are the author of blender. Great work. I have pasted io_import_scene_unreal_psa_psk_280.py in addons folder. I would want to know how import mesh from ue viewer to blender. I understand I should export mesh from ue viewer mmm? or anything else?

1: I'm not a author of Blender, just a blender user.
2: Did you enable it in Preferences?
3: Use export with uModel has PSK (Default) and Import with the Importer inside Blender (N Panel it's located or Import > PSK).

Ok but my files are in pskx format, How can I convert into .tga or dds? Do you understand me now?
I don't want convert model to image.

Grin

A quick googling showed me this video:

The tutorial is new enough (February 2019), but definitely not for Blender 2.8 which has a new interface. I didn't watch tutorial myself to verify things because I'm not a Blender user.

I still didn't that but I want ask you if I can export also textures.

EDIT: hello again, I know that is outsid of this thread but as Blender are you here and you got to import model, I don't find tutorials for unit parts pskx. and contro + J not work. I would want to know how join parts: https://ibb.co/Z1ZBNLv Is this what I should join and then export to blender?
