Game: Grounded (steam page)
UE4 version: 4.27 (current version) / 4.24-26 (previous versions)

Previous versions works fine - including textures, meshes and animations - with the latest umodel build (1587 at the moment).

Update: For static meshes in latest game versions use specific build from this topic with game specific override option. You can also use that build to avoid some other possible issues with batch operations.

I've been trying to open Grounded models now the full release is available (from Sept 27) using build 1587 without success I'm afraid. UE4 version is 4.27.2. I've tried overriding game detection and setting to UE 4.27, otherwise all settings are default.

Attempting to open all the uasset files in Game\Blueprints\Creatures\Ant\Red\Worker results in the "There's no visual objects loaded now" message. I've attached the console log for your reference.

I was wondering if you had a moment to verify, or otherwise point out how I'm being a bit thick if at all possible!

@Avex: You're trying to open blueprint, which are not supported by umodel in general. For other assets types, not supported by umodel (like blueprints, datatables and such), you can use fmodel.

I've checked and apparently static meshes in latest game versions are customized now. Added support for them to specific build, for more info read the first post.

@Sidiusz: I suggest to view recommended video from tutorials section and look for any other umodel tutorials. If you're looking only for rigged meshes (skeletal), even vanilla build should work fine.

After updating the game UModel does not want to extract the game files, whether they are rigged or static

@Sidiusz: I've checked steam version 1.1.3, which should be latest stable version, and first post along with my previous post are still valid - skeletal meshes, textures and animations can be loaded even in official umodel (1589), while static meshes are supported in specific build, mentioned in the first post. I've suggested to look for tutorials because apparently the only thing you know is how to do batch export / batch search, while umodel provides other options for loading selected folders / assets, adding selected animations and such, which allow to export almost all supported assets in some cases where batch operations fails.

Well, it sounds like you want to continue being ignorant then. spiritovod definitely knows their stuff, I would just follow their advice and you will be looking at what you want in no time.
