Rise Online
« on: October 30, 2021, 03:21 »

Game: Rise Online / Rise Online World (official site)
UE version: 5.4 (current version) / 4.26 (previous versions)
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

For UE4 versions:
All works fine - including meshes, textures and animations - with the latest umodel build (1590 at the moment). Some materials are custom. Latest versions are using custom encryption, and you need to extract assets first with respective quickbms script from specific scripts bundle, available in topic with keys. For more info read sticked topic and this post.

For UE5 versions:
Mostly supported with specific build from this topic. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic. No script is required for those game versions.

'am getting an error with every pakchunkX_0_P.pak file, but not the "optional" one

"TArray: index 2147483647 is out of range (0)

CallStack:
File <- Directory <- BuildFullDirectory <- FPakVFS::LoadPakIndex <- FPakVFS::ReadDirectory: PakVer=11.0 <- RegisterGameFile: D:\RiseOnline\Paks/pakchunk10-WindowsClient_0_P.pak <- ScanGameDirectory <- appSetRootDirectory: dir=D:\RiseOnline\Paks <- Main: umodel_build=1575"

Removing them solved the issue. Did anyone encounter the same problem?

@Ehlyon: Actually those files didn't exist two days ago, when I was checking the game. But yes, due to their specifics they'll crash umodel. I think that those _0_P patches were created to exclude existing assets (along with adding new ones) without actually removing them from big packages (due to the way how UE4 file system works), but this behavior is not implemented in current build yet. Until it'll be fixed in umodel, you can simply move those patches somewhere - or if you want to extract assets from them, you can use 4.27 quickbms script from here (for more info read sticked topic).

Update: It's now fixed in latest official build (1576).

Hello @spiritovod, I tried to open this in umodel (build 1589) and use the AES key from cs.rin.ru

(0xBCCC309B3FDBC83EA5687A89E5C483BA2CB9C2B9E106F975ED1E15F0D9A2D2B8)

but I got this error instead:

WARNING: The provided encryption key doesn't work with "D:\Games\RiseOnline/Game/RiseOnline/Content/Paks/pakchunk50optional-WindowsClient.pak".

Can you help me with this matter? Thank you in advance. Smiley

@imbachoii: The game is now using custom encryption. I've updated the first post with solution and also updated the key. If you have other issues, related to encryption or quickbms scripts, please address them to the topic with keys, not here.

I've updated first post with info about latest game versions, since they've switched to UE5 now, and also updated the key. But in general encryption related issues, including key requests, should be addressed to the topic with keys, like already said above (in reference to removed post).
