Steam version works as well. Same engine version and AES key.as the mobile version.
Only materials are not correct.

AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

You can use latest specific build from this topic for better materials support - no special override is required, simple choose proper engine version.

Update: For latest game versions you need to use game specific override in that build. Custom packages are supported by the build as well, but if you want to extract them, use respective quickbms script from specific scripts bundle, available in topic with keys. For more info read sticked topic.

It seems that latest Umodel materials build can not open the .pak files anymore after the latest update for the steam version. (Pak files are of an unknown format) it says.

I provided a link for the smallest .pak file:

@WollieWoltaz: Apparently the dev has decided to obfuscate all their UE games in the same way. I've updated my post above with respective info (required script is the same for Etheria and Torchlight).

I forgot to check it, but they've modified meshes in latest game versions as well. The build mentioned above is updated with support for latest versions, you need to use game specific override for them to work properly. Custom packages are also supported by the build now, there is no need to extract them.
