Just wondering are there any plans to make it possible to extract the Gears of War 3 beta files? I moved the update with all the files from my xbox to a USB then extracted that using some program I forgot the name for. However when I try to extract the package with all the skeletal meshes and animation files on it doesn't work and creates a notice (notepad) saying:

Gears of War 3 definitely will be supported. But I have neither XBox360 nor any of GOW3 Beta files.

So how you get the upk files etc from the tu00000104_00000000 file? Anyways Gildor iam able to provide you the gears of war 3 beta files if  Danny can help me out to extract that stuff

http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/xbox-360-content/apps/4046-xbox-360-usb-storage-explorer-xplorer-xtaf-v44-new.html is the program I used. You can't extract any of the packages though unfortunetly. Well, you can get some files, but none that you could really use (e.g. an animation without the skeletal mesh).

I could also make the files available if that would help you Gildor.

This should work http://gael360.free.fr/wxPirs.php Have you got the file that gets downloaded from xboxlive? thats the one you need (map file) for the character models, I've been searching for days with no luck (no xbox) Sad

Textures can be exported and some staticmeshes

Some meshes cant be exported than i get a error:

Also presence of startup.xxx and CharTextures.tfc would be great.

Edit: Audio support will be awesome to for cinema's Cheesy lots of voices of the characters are in the files to!

Thank you for the files.
It is not possible to extract GOW audio, it is in some XBox360-specific format.

Ah thought someone already figured it out to  codec the audio or something.

I wonder if its using XMA to ? according to : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XMA_(audio_format)

And something ive seen the gears 3 beta is Xenon Cooked.

How did you extract those? What package are they in? Everytime I try to extract a package I only get some useless (for me anyway) static meshes.

I dont exact know what packages because i forget it but theyre from the packages

still cant find the player weapon models
