The PS5 version is still kept private, no where to get the files, what platform is that you have loaded in your screenshot?

Someone transplanted it from PS5 to PC. Although the game is a bit stuck,but it can be played on PC.

It's was not transplanted, Epic shared most parts of it as free City Sample project, pretty much like they did with Valley of the Ancient. I didn't create topic for it, because most stuff are UE5 specific things like nanite or virtual textures or variable weights, which are not supported.

Does anyone have the full umodel settings needed to load this game up? I found the files online but I'm not sure what to do.

Many thanks.

Actual PS5 tech demo is now supported to some extent in updated specific build from this topic, you need to use game specific override. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic.

exporting sound wave asset from XSX tech demo results gives way to this error:
Quote
Memory: bad allocation size -1625353200 bytes
appMalloc: size=-1625353200 (total=34 Mbytes) <- FArray::Empty: -1332853522 x 56 <- TArray::Serialize: 0/0 <- USoundWave::Serialize <- LoadObject: SoundWave'sfx_Weapon_Pistol_Hero_Blast_nl_01.sfx_Weapon_Pistol_Hero_Blast_nl_01', pos=396, ver=524/0, game=matrix <- UObject::EndLoad <- LoadWholePackage: /Frosty/Plugins/EventOnly/Content/Audio/sfx_Weapon_Pistol_Hero_Blast_nl_01.uasset <- ExportPackages <- CUmodelApp::ShowPackageUI <- Main: umodel_build=1579 based fix100

updated specific build was used and tested against XSX tech demo with "The Matrix Awakens" Unreal Engine 5 game override selected.

@Lampion: umodel doesn't support native audio since probably 4.23 engine. I didn't check audio for this tech demo, but if it's using modern UE native format (bink audio) or wwise solution, it can be probably converted externally from extracted as-is assets. Though it would be out of scope of the topic.

ok, so the question is how will i get support for exporting sounds from this game, and where? i mean actual proper support not get told off without even so much as a pointer of where to go.

i don't want to use fmodel, it doesn't work with that XSX tech demo; heck, it couldn't even mount an utoc! i managed to make a compatilibity thread in fmodel's discord server and not even hours later it all but vanished with no explanation from staff on WTF happened that made the thread nuked to orbit.

i also refuse to go to ResHAX for help; it's literally filled with threads after threads basically asking "please analyze this file for me", "please find this one asset in the game files for me" or "please help me do anything with the files AT ALL" or a variation thereof.

and assuming this is the only viable place for this kind of stuff, i may need to open a new thread elsewhere but not in this section. so in which section is it acceptable to make a thread consisting of a report that some custom build failed to export an audio uasset owing to some "bad allocation" error?

@Lampion: There is no point in reporting issues related to non-working sound assets, you may consider this option as deprecated for newer engine versions. The reason why the option is not completely removed from newer builds (so the people wouldn't ask about it) is due to possible issues while merging some general improvements between builds where sound export should actually work, for example UE2/3 games. Though removing it from UE5 build seems like a good idea.

As for the game, you may provide in PM some sound assets extracted as-is from the game (via "save packages" option). If they're using some third-party solutions, most likely it would be possible to extract audio from there. Otherwise I can't help.

@Lampion: Please don't bother to report any issues on the forum with such attitude (referencing to removed post), most likely they are either can't be solved or out of scope of the forum.
