Game: The First Descendant (steam page)
UE5 version: 5.2 (current version) / 5.0 (previous versions)
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Use specific build from this topic with game specific override (for newest game versions) or simply choose engine version (for old versions). For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic.

Update: Skeletal meshes should be fixed in latest update, along with some animations.
Update 2: Static meshes also should be fixed in latest update.
Update 3: Destructible meshes should be supported in latest update. Also now there is an option to disable materials separately from textures.
Update 4: Game specific override option is added to respective build, you need to use it for latest game versions.

I've rolled out small update for respective build from this topic (should be fix9 version), it affects skeletons. With it, skeletal meshes and animations should work now, but not destructible and static meshes. You need to disable materias though (via disabling textures) and most textures are virtual ones, which are not supported anyway. I'll take a look at static meshes later.

Hi Spiritvod, thanks for the help, I´m trying it with the new version called umodel_materials_ue5.exe but I get the same error even when I disable the view/export of textures. Which one from the list should I select?

I don't know why. There is no Ajax, Viessa and another character in NPC.
There are 1-27 characters in the NPC folder, but 16, 24, 26 characters are missing. Maybe the three characters missing are those three people.
I tried to check almost all the folders, but could not find them. Has anyone seen these three?

Disable the texture and everything except skeletal mesh in the first window, try it like that and if not export in .psk

If only skeleton mesh is selected, there is nothing.

Check umodel's logs when exporting the mesh, there should be something.

Hi Gildor!

I´m able to view and export the skeletal meshes that start with UI in the title after disabling the option for the textures, but the ones that start with PC give me the following error:

FPakFile::Serialize: file=/M1/Content/Characters/PC/PC_Skeleton.uexp <- FArchive::ByteOrderSerialize <- TArray::Serialize: 2012/327680 <- FReferenceSkeleton<< <- USkeleton::Serialize <- LoadObject: Skeleton'PC_Skeleton.PC_Skeleton', pos=34AE9, ver=525/0 (unversioned), game=ue5 <- UObject::EndLoad <- LoadWholePackage: /M1/Content/Characters/PC/MESH/001/A/Skel/PC_001_A0101.uasset <- CUmodelApp::ShowPackageUI <- Main: umodel_build=1579 based fix9

Check umodel's logs when exporting the mesh, there should be something.

Thanks for help. I found the problem .bin must exist at the same time. Now the UI can see the mesh!

PC-MESH-001-A-UI_PC_001 is Lepic.
