[UE5] Dragon Sword
« on: January 21, 2026, 01:59 »

Game: Dragon Sword / DragonSword: Awakening (steam page / official site / launcher)
UE5 version: 5.3
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Mostly supported with specific build from this topic. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic. You also need to read notes from the first post of this topic about unicode paths support in umodel to avoid possible issues.

With updated specific build you can open packages directly (by using game specific override), but if you want to extract some assets, which are not supported by umodel, you can use respective quickbms script from specific scripts bundle, available in topic with keys. For more info read sticked topic and this post.

Update: Specific build is updated with the fix for DragonSword: Awakening version.

@anle01637: I've added direct link to the launcher for those who can't find it on official site (they've reworked it after the game launch). The launcher requires korean vpn, but in-game download is not region locked at the moment.

You need to extract the files and then read those. The AES key is used in the quickbms script.

I've added support for game packages to the specific build, they can be open now without extraction by using game specific override. Also make sure to read additional notes about unicode paths supports, mentioned in the first post, to avoid possible issues  - in short, there shouldn't be unicode (korean) characters in the path if your locale doesn't support them natively, otherwise it will not be recognized by umodel.

Most audio/sound should be exportable as well with respective option enabled at startup screen.

@anle01637: I took a look at animations and some of them - like generic movements and skills (but not all of them) - are using 60 framerate, while cinematics are using mostly 30 framerate. I guess some animations can use curves for non-linear processing too. If there are animations with clearly broken framerate, feel free to report them.

Spine assets should be exportable in the updated build. Note that if you're exporting the whole folder, there will be texture duplicates (one from actual texture export and one from references in atlas) placed in different folders. Spine export was created in the way it would be compatible with most spine viewers, which expects for all related files to be present in the same folder.

This export feature was tested only with this game, if you have issues with it in other games, please report them in corresponding game topics.

Update: Specific build is updated to avoid some issues with spine assets.

Both specific umodel build and quickbms script are updated with the fix for DragonSword: Awakening, which will be released in steam as single-player version of the same game. Currently only demo is available for it.
