Game: High On Life 2 (steam page)
UE5 version: 5.5

Partially supported with specific build from this topic. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic (most textures for skeletal meshes are virtual ones).

Like in the first game, instead of diffuse/albedo textures most environment parts are painted via masks with color palettes and other things you may see in respective material properties.

Thank you for adding support for this!

In your experience, how challenging is it to reconstruct the materials using the masks and the color palettes?

@umbradiadem: The game was supported to begin with (considering current limitations of the build), as you can see no specific override is required for it. You may try other games as well, in case of crashes you can report them in usage problems section of the forum or create a proper game topic and report them there (use other topics as examples).

As for reconstructing materials, I can't really tell as I don't work with 3d modeling software much (except for things required for testing umodel export formats in third party tools for core issues). It's better to address such question to more appropriate communities.
