I have implemented Mass Effect SkeletalMesh support. Animations are not supported.

what packages do you open to see the meshes?
I get textures to appear on some of the packages and others open saying its a mesh but I do not see anything in the viewer.
Thanks for adding support for this game Smiley

Look here for example:
Code:
BioGame/CookedPC/Packages/GameObjects/Characters/Humanoids/HumanFemale
I think (not tested) all packages in "BioGame/CookedPC/Packages/GameObjects/Characters" path holds skeletal meshes.

Very nice they show up great Smiley
I even see textures showing in the viewer in some of the models.
Do you want any models uploaded to look at or do you have them already?

This is excellent, works beautifully!
Will animation extraction ever be possible for Mass Effect?

I don't want to dig into Mass Effect deeper ... Possibly much later ... (this will require a lot of time, I have different plans for Umodel that may take a long time)
Their animation format is different than original UE3. I'll implement it if someone is willing to sponsor my work Wink

I want to rewrite the renderer with hardware shaders support. I want a perfect look of UE2 and UE3 shaders. After all "umodel" is a "model viewer"!

My plans (without priority)
- view (no export?) StaticMesh for UT2003/2004, UE2Runtime, UT3 and GOW2 (no other games)
- create new renderer with support for complex UE2 materials and UE3 shaders
- possibly, support animations for Unreal Championship 2
