Hi

I'm using umodel to try to extract the textures for the Inquisitor Cal skin in Fallen Order that was added with the latest DLC.

With the settings in the attached image, I can identify most textures in the game but I cannot find the textures for the Inquisitor Cal skin. In particular, I am looking to change the imperial decal on the shoulders of the pauldrons and the colour of the accents on the shirt and trousers.

The only textures which I have been able to identify for this skin are the following. Can anyone point me in the direction of the path to these textures or suggest why they are not showing up for me in umodel?

/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailA_C.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailA_N.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailB_C.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailB_N.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/InquisitorCal_Lower_A.uasset

Many thanks

Ben

InquisitorCal_Upper_C is the body texture with the imperial decal, though they are part of the actual texture.

A little off-topic, but how exactly did you get your Blender to look so nice? If you're using a single HDRI, would you be willing to share it?

It's just the ones that came with Blender, only thing I've changed it the color management is set to Filmic and Very High Contrast.

and the other world lighting I use is Physical Astmophere addon (v1.1)

Thanks Blenux, that was exactly what I'm looking for.

However, strangely, my umodel is not extracting that file: /Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/InquisitorCal_Upper_C.uasset

When I navigate to that path, I can only see the files shown in the attached image including InquisitorCal_Lower_A.uasset but bizarrely not InquisitorCal_Upper_C.uasset or InquisitorCal_Lower_C.uasset even though that model is displaying perfectly in game.

Do you have any idea why that might be the case?

Further to my last, attached is the log from umodel: I wonder whether the missing InquisitorCal textures are one of the 288 game files skipped?

Quote
Found 247095 game files (288 skipped) in 10053 folders at path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Fallen Order"

You should point UModel at "SwGame/Content/Paks".

When I point it at \SwGame\Content\Paks, I get this:

Quote
Found 246922 game files (0 skipped) in 10036 folders at path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Fallen Order\SwGame\Content\Paks"

However, I still can't find the InquisitorCal textures. All I see in the InquisitorCal/Model/txt folder are the following:

Quote
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailA_C.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailA_N.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailB_C.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/Coat_Fabric_DetailB_N.uasset
/Game/Characters/InquisitorCal/Model/txt/InquisitorCal_Lower_A.uasset

This has really got me stumped because the game is working fine and clearly loading those textures so they must be somewhere.

Is there by any chance you could look back at this game and maybe fix the IDLE animations not extracting for a few characters?

2 off the top of my head that don't extract or play in the Umodel viewer are Cal and InquisitorCal from the arena update.

Hello, i really would like to extract the idle animation of the hero as well but when i tried so i always got this error message :

This happened for every idle animations extraction in the Characters/Hero/Animation/Idles folder.

Player idle and cutscene animations specifically are known to fail upon exporting. Here are a few sample files: https://www.mediafire.com/file/59ktghwmuoslz5d/samples.7z/file

Yeah looks like they have different TrackOffsets or something like that??, you only option is if Gildor has the time and able to fix it when he reads this.
