I think your working directory is not set. You should 'cd' to the 'CookedPC' first.

second, is there any way to extract all the .upk files directly? using a name doesnt work since half the files are numbers and i couldnt find any help through searching

aaaand third, how are the animations structured? a lot of the model .upks are just named an 8 figure long
series of numbers which makes it impossible to find its animations, someone said they used universal animations earlier
in the thread but thats ridiculous due to the diverse anatomy of all the models, besides that you have to extract everything before you can search for it right? which makes that a catch 22 regardless...

on top of that all of the humanoid models are split into 3 parts, body/head/hair and stored in their own (and completely unrelated name-wise) .upk files, absolutely ridiculous

every asian unreal based game ive looked at so far have had a completely messed up file structure T_T

a lot of mmo's are based on numbers if you extracted everything and looked at the numbers they would match up there are a ton of games using this system.

you wouldnt mind telling me how to extract everything at once then?

i guess it must be a really general command prompt line because it doesnt seem to be written down anywhere, ive searched but havent managed to find anything

the only experience i have with command was starting games in ms-dos 15 years ago as a child T__T

Before you exectute it make sure you have UModel.exe and SDL.DLL in this directory, or added UModel to system paths, here is tutorial how to do it

This will save you some time when creating your next batch file:

@for /f "tokens=*" %%a in ('dir /b *.upk') do ( umodel -game=bns -all -export %%a )

Put it in a batch file and run it in the same directory as the .upk files, umodel.exe, and SDL.dll. It will extract everything, without having to specify each file by name.

There is no "delete" commands in this sample. Umodel will never delete files.

Hello, I'm new here, but i have a question:
Wanna translate the BnS from korean to english, i dont have problem with the translation but the decoding...
I dont know how to decode the .dat files of BnS, the xml.dat and the config.dat have the language...
Any idea?
