Is umodel working with latest beta (OBT)?

I guess something is wrong from OBT tga export. Gon female hair colors going from white to purlpe

I think everything is ok, color can be changed in shader.

BNS is now open beta in china and you can get the client here without register:

There is a guide on how to register and play for foreign people and you need passport number

Umodel works as usual when using -game=bns but its also a pain in the a*s to fit it all together Smiley

Hello everyone bumping this thread for 2 questions: 1) are the games models and anim in those crazy number named files?
                                                                       2) i copy and paste batch export into cookedpc and it runs but nothing gets exported what am i doing wrong?

1) Yes, it should
2) Most likely you've got a set of errors. Check "output.log". But I think you've forgot to add option "-game=bns". Modify "game=..." option (line 14)

I'm having problems extracting animations from newest version of the game; even the old ones give me the same errors

It appears that B&S now has own animation compression method "ZOnlyRLE" which is not supported by umodel. I hope this method is not widely used in the game, so umodel will only remove tracks with unknown compression method.

Hello,

First of all, thank you Gildor for Umodel, this soft is amazing Cheesy

I was able to extract the meshes, the textures and materials, but the animsets are problematic.

The fact is only 20% of the animsets of the game are available for extraction. Is there a way to support the "ZOnlyRLE" some day or is it a completly custom type of animset and Umodel will never extract them ?

1. you should use better batch exporter from this thread: http://www.gildor.org/smf/index.php/topic,1099.0.html
2. try to add "-game=bns" option - I'm not sure whether it's required, I don't have a time to review this thread
