Use this specific build, you need to use game Shadow Warrior 3 override option.

Well, yes, all UE4 games from this developer are using almost the same modified engine, including Samurai Warrior 3, Trek to Yomi and this one. Previously they had separate overrides, I've merged them into one single override option now (where all three games are mentioned), available in specific build from this topic, which is already mentioned above.

Almost all animations related to human models are linked to proxy meshes, available in Animation/Skeletons subfolder (there are different ones for different purposes I suppose).

Hey there! I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask but I've been trying to extract some sound files from the game yet have had no success whatsoever so far... (I've never modded or datamined a game before so suffice to say, I'm thoroughly lost tongue )

I'm using Umodel ver. 1579 (with the Shadow Warrior 3 override) and from what I've been able to find, the sound files seem to be inside the FMOD folder.
However, trying to extract any files or folders in there with Umodel simply returns: "exported 0/0 objects in 0.0 sec".

I'm sorry for reviving a dead thread and especially if this question is frequently asked, but I really couldn't find anything on the web on how to extract or play these FMODEVENT files. Any pointers at all would be extremely helpful!

@NumaBridge: umodel doesn't support audio formats used in modern UE games. You need to use other tools to extract audio from them, like fmodel (directly from packages for supported formats) or vgmstream (for already extracted from packages audio containers like wem/bnk/bank).

I see! Following your suggestion, I used Fmodel and was able to extract the files. They're in a .uasset/.uexp file type so I guess I still need to find a way to actually play them but that's some progress done!
Thank you very much for your help, and apologies for my previous question.
