Open with specific build from this topic(https://www.gildor.org/smf/index.php/topic,7906.0.html) give this error:

@Vincent Donald: You're using really old build, current one is fix208. It's recommended to check if there is a newer build in the mentioned topic before reporting possible issues. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic.

Note that the game is using custom materials and it has almost no diffuse/albedo textures for characters. Also a lot of animations are using scene offsets and are not placed in the center. After switching to such animations you can press "F" to focus on the mesh and preview the animation afterwards.
