1st up thanx gildor & thanks chrrox. i was at this for 8hours before u guys lit the path  Cool.

thats me got a obj Cheesy. do you want me to write out a tut on hear for this?.

ok 1st step was the wepon then the textures. i fallowed the same steps for the textures that you wrote chrrox & got targa's. however non of the textures are wraping the mesh! thats after i changed them to dss files.

how do you apply it? you should apply on the sub-mesh mode

i put the mesh into milkshape "doom md5!" & exported as obj & then changed all the targas to dss.

the picture is one of the dss file applyed to the mesh in nifskope "after i changed the obj to nif"

all of the dss files do the same & dont fit the wepon?.

check the rifle in umodel viewr,  this is what i used to extract the textures. im thinking that umodel is doing something wrong with the textures or cant read them right???

no its md5 importer script

found it in this forum someware. it also has an exporter Wink

The main problem is that you have ignored readme.txt file packaged with umodel distribution. There is a special section "Notes about md5mesh/md5anim export" describing some common problems.
