I think i got it:

Import model into milkshape
Save as ms3d
Open in max by polytrans-to-max
Smiley

Polytrans-to-max does not work with my max2008, just up to max7 i think

Models in UE2 has LOD support, but LODs are generated by code and have very poor quality. UE3 has LODs of nice quality. By the way you may export all LODs by adding "-lods" option to the umodel's command line.

I have a question as well.
Is there some way how to extract maps from lineage to 3d format file or such file. I mean if there is way to get for example town giran in 3d file format. With all voxels and details?

you can unpack it to t3d format but ofc you need a tool to unpack it.
