Hello everyone, Good afternoon.

First of all, I want to thank you Gildor, to provide us this plugin that is so helpful. I really appreciate.

I am totally newbie in gaming design and rendering, but I always loved this area. Actually I am working in a personal remake.
Getting all information from a Wii game and working on UE4.

I am facing a problem when importing the PSK files to 3ds Max, program. There are some objects, effects on ground that I can see normally o BrressViewer, however when I open on 3ds Max it appears a square instead the effects.

Certainly I am doing something wrong ^^'

Kindly, could please, any of you try to help me on this issue?
I will be very thankful.

Follow below the Print Screen regarding the problem.

Hi. Welcome to forum!
I think you should set up opacity mask for material. Not sure how to do that in Max, but probably you didn't add "Opacity Mask" texture?

Wow, Thank you for the extremely fast answer.

Hum, I didn't try it, I will look for this option on textures, actually I just exported all maps and everything worked, therefore I worked in the Mesh with the textures bounded, I didn't separate them.

I will try to change only in the specific element. Maybe it works.

Thank you again \o/. I will leave a feedback

Hello,

Unfortunately, it still the same. Since the TGA there is not a fixed diffuse, the square still remains.
I think there is a function that I am missing, because the import should do it without any trouble.

The PSK is attached, if it is not a trouble, Kindly, could you please check if there is a problem with my editor?

Simple load it and verify if there is something wrong.
Of course, just if you can, Grin, I don't wanna bother you with something like that  Smiley

Thanks for everything

The problem you have is definitely with texture's alpha channel. There's nothing could be wrong with PSK. You should properly configure the material. If you have only a single texture, you should check if it have alpha channel. If yes - you should map that channel to "Opacity map" in material editor. I can't say you more because I'm rarely using Max by myself.

Congratulations again for everything.
