Somebody open/rip Days Gone? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Days_Gone

looking where can download any pack upk and extract mesh, anims, skelmesh.

Not possible- they use a custom in house engine build of UE4.

Did you check the files to be sure about that? Its for sure modified but some components may have remained the same.

The error means that package has custom format. Not a mesh, not a texture - but package (i.e. object container).

I’m trying to convert .uasset animations from this game.

When package format is not supported, you can't open ANY file from this game with umodel, not just "animations" etc. You can browse assets (just view file list), you can "save" packages, but not open.

Just in case: I see files are versioned in this game, and it was made with UE4.11. So, changing engine version is pointless.

@Gildor: Please don't bother with the game. Like it was already said above, game is using custom version of UE4 and it's not 4.11. It's just some people (like Tosyk) are refuse to read or completely ignore something if it bothers them.

The game worth supporting much more than some games which ARE supported with custom UModel code (e.g. Tekken 7). However here's a complexity: if there will be difficulties doing its support, I can't do reverse engineering as I usually do for PC games, because this game is PS4-only.

1. "Version report" - the game has versioned files, and these files may have DIFFERENT versions.
2. Check if UModel crashes with ANY files, or just with several ones.
3. 10-20 uassets which crashes UModel.
