Game: Dead Island 2 (EGS page)
UE4 version: 4.25
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Use specific build from this topic with game specific override option. Everything should work, except for dynamic parts of zombies. Also some materials are not parsed properly.

Update: Specific build is updated with a few fixes. Those meshes which could be loaded, but with distorted geometry, should look properly. Also it's now possible to export zombie meshes without previewing (umodel will crash if you try to preview them), though output would be incorrect anyway and missing dynamic parts.

Update 2: The game is now supported in more general build and there shouldn't be any crashes. Though dynamic parts of zombies can't be previewed or exported anyway due to their nature.

I am a still recieving multiple errors as well. especially when trying to View or extract any of the zombie models. Here is one of the errors

only particular skeletal meshes works properly
Please don't report any issues with visuals, crashes or something, I'm aware about most of them.

Specific build in the first post is updated with a few fixes. Read update notes for more info.

On the side note, the game is a good example of how optimizations can be done. Like dynamically loaded extended geometry, two skeletons, probably for different interaction types, and such (mostly affecting zombies).

P.S. If someone will somehow manage to make any animation work with an exported zombie mesh, let me know. Though probably some animations are tied to different skeleton than loaded by default (and to extended geometry), which would explain skinning issues and related crashes.

Issues with zombie meshes should be fixed now, first post is updated with respective info. I doubt anything else can be done with them.

Most people doesn't use lods, but just in case - lowest lod for some meshes can't be previewed and exported (it doesn't affect meshes with single lod). Aside from that, you can now report other issues, which are not mentioned in the first post.

@meshuniverse: You can report your issues here, just provide some explanation for them and a screenshot if needed. Though I advice to read FAQ first (available here), and also check some tutorials about general umodel usage (for example, from here). You may consider issues = crashes for umodel, because usually the rest is related to unimplemented features.
