Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm trying to access the DBD files after the latest updates.
Is the game's dedicated DBD version still functional? Currently, shipping.exe indicates version 5.6, so I imagine that the two dedicated versions, 5.4 and 5.2 (DBD), may no longer work (in my case, the files are detected, but the same error message always appears when opening any mesh or texture). I might be doing something wrong when opening the files, but I don't know what.

Game: Beast of Reincarnation (steam page)
UE5 version: 5.4
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Mostly supported with specific build from this topic. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic. You can disable sections with no real materials applied for better preview in some cases (Ctrl+M).

Game: Combat: Task Force 121 (wiki)
UE2 version: 129/10

Skeletal meshes, static meshes and textures are supported in specific build from this topic. All games from this developer should be autodetected, but there is also game specific override just in case. The game is using additional custom data for meshes and materials, that's why some materials doesn't work. Also some animations are stored in psa format (like used in umodel's export), but they're mostly duplicates of animations from packages in system folder.

Update: It should work with the rest of games from this developer, including World War II Combat: Road to Berlin / Iwo Jima. All these games should be autodetected now.

@Modphex: It's related to the used psk/psa import plugin. Modern plugin may have certain issues in some cases (I guess it's my fault, but anyway). Either use legacy plugins with old blender versions, or ActorX importer, or export to gltf which is supported in blender directly. A few related posts from other topics for reference: first, second.

Nice, thanks for the tips!

Greetings. Wink

I was just trying de Alien Rogue Incursion Evolved and i can extract models, textures and animations but the animations in blender doesn't work, at least for Facehugger. Sould they work or it's a limitation?
When i load the psa, full or individual they just don't work, they are like tiny chunks in the NonLinear Animations tab all the same size.

Edit: I just tried the VR version and the animations works perfect.

Greetings. Thanks in advance. Smiley

@Ruozhuo: They've upgraded to 5.6 engine in recent update, but umodel compatibility is still the same as it was before. First post is updated with respective info.

@Dlinear: For psk/psa some issues can be caused by modern importer, try to use legacy ones (this one or this), which should produce the same result as in the viewer. Also like explained in my post above, if the animation looks the same in umodel's preview and it's an additive one, I doubt that I can suggest anything helpful beyond things already mentioned in quoted post and other mentioned topics.
