What files you looking for specifically? Cloth mesh that released after 2020 can't be exported, you can export vehicle weapons and buildings though!

Hello everyone, is there still a way to export character models? I tried using umodel_pubg_v2 and acl_1.2, but they both failed to extract correctly, showing an appMalloc
or 0/0 meshes error. However, weapons and buildings can be viewed and exported normally. The only way available right now seems to be downloading a pak file from four years ago.

Character models stopped working after March 2020! Your best bet is older depots, if you are looking for new cloth meshes sadly UE viewer don't sees them!

I found out that the version released on December 16, 2020, is the last version supported by umodel. The skin models of subsequent versions cannot be exported (to be precise, it's not that they cannot be exported, but that the models cannot be found). I'm still trying to extract the PGI.S Tactical Pants model, but unfortunately, it can't be exported in this version.

For people who don't like reading the whole topic - I've added reference to explanation why cloth meshes and such can't be exported from current game versions to the first post.

Hello everyone, I'm using umodel_pubg_v2 and selected 4.16 to extract some new vehicles. But there is some error. Should I still use 4.16 or is there any newer version of umodel to extract?

Error:

@YICHENLAI: Assuming that you're using correct umodel build, you need to use game specific override (with the game name) instead of generic engine version. But it may not work for some assets due to the reasons, explained in the first post.

Masters, 2021-2024 They added many new skin models.
I know, I can only extract the skin model from the old version now.
I want to ask, is there really no way for me to extract the later version of the skin model? Or can you fix this by updating the umodel?

Edit: I fixed my previous issue.

So, is there a way to fix certain weapons not having a model even though there is a size that would indicate that it does? like i went extract the winchester and it doesn't have a model, but it has a "size." what gives? i can download the scope and iron sights but not the actual gun mesh itself because it wont show up in the viewer.

I'm looking for the Winchester specifically, but I can't load the skeletal meshes at all. If I pick skeletal meshes on start up and try to load the mesh I get a crash too (I usually only check static meshes and textures). I don't get what's going on.

@N0r3m0rse: It's mentioned in the first post, but only particular game versions are fully supported after changes they've started to use in 2023. Read the first post and all cross-linked there posts for more info.

I guess it's time to update specific build for more recent versions. Unless someone has suggestions for any particular old version, mentioned here in between june and current moment, one of newest would be supported.
